HIT CJP — Hope. Integrity. Truth. — is a civic satire campaign responding to performative politics, selective outrage, and the kind of lazy nationalism that feels righteous online and does nothing offline.
We are not a political party. We do not endorse any party. We are not left. We are not right. We are constitutionally allergic to nonsense from all directions.
The Cockroach Janta Party emerged from real youth frustration — and we respect that frustration. What we reject is a manifesto that packages opposition talking points as civic demands, stays silent on the funding scandals it should be loudest about, and launched with zero economic policy for the unemployed youth it claims to represent.
Real nationalism is not ranting from a bedroom. It is building, contributing, paying honestly, holding every institution accountable — with facts, not vibes — and demanding better from every government, every party, every era.
Lazy thinking. Selective outrage. Propaganda dressed as satire. Institutions that fail citizens. Any platform — on any side — that demands accountability from others while granting immunity to itself.
Unemployed youth. Frustrated citizens. Genuine dissent. Satire that earns its anger. Anyone building, serving, or contributing to this country regardless of their politics.
Every spray cites verifiable public records — SC judgments, independent research, statutory data. We acknowledge what works in India. We name what governance has failed. No party label on either column.
If corruption is wrong, it is wrong across all parties. Same spray. Same can. No preferred target.
A sitting judge presiding over landmark cases and receiving a political appointment months after retirement is a genuine conflict of interest — regardless of which government, which party, which era. The demand is legitimate.
The demand is worded "if CJP comes to power" — a future aspiration, not an accountability demand. And the very CJI whose "cockroach" remark created this party appears in zero of their five demands. Born from a judge's words; silent on that judge.
Live-streaming of Supreme Court proceedings — a genuine transparency step many democracies lack. The court continues striking down legislation it finds unconstitutional, showing residual independence worth protecting.
Post-retirement appointments to political bodies, tribunals, and commissions have been a recurring practice across multiple governments for decades. A systemic failure older than any current administration.
No judge at any level shall accept any government appointment, party role, or state-funded position within five years of retirement. A structural rule — applies regardless of which government is in power when the appointment happens.
Voter roll manipulation is documented and underreported across multiple state elections. Stronger Election Commission accountability is a completely legitimate demand.
UAPA suspends normal bail protections — applying it to civil servants for administrative failure is the exact institutional overreach this movement claims to oppose. And CJP's entire manifesto never mentions anonymous political donations — a Rs 12,000 crore issue struck down 9-0 by the SC. Silence on the biggest documented electoral corruption is not a neutral position.
Elections at 960 million voter scale, conducted on schedule, with VVPAT paper trails providing physical audit mechanisms.
Electoral funding transparency remains severely broken. Anonymous political donations at scale, voter roll anomalies in multiple states, and recurring EC independence questions — systemic failures demanding structural fixes, not symbolic arrests.
Full electoral funding transparency for every party — every donation above Rs 2,000 disclosed publicly within 30 days. Fixed EC member terms removable only by joint parliamentary resolution. Independent voter roll audit before every election. No UAPA for civil servants.
India's Women's Reservation Act has been deferred to post-delimitation — 2029 at earliest. That is a political choice, not a constitutional compulsion. Women at 14% of Parliament is indefensible in 2026.
The 50% Cabinet demand requires zero constitutional change — any CM can do it today. CJP welcomed opposition politicians without asking those same politicians: what is your state cabinet's female percentage? Demanding representation from some while granting photo-op passes to others is performative feminism.
Women's Reservation Act passed Parliament after 27 years of failure — a real legislative achievement. Record women voter turnout. Housing schemes with mandatory female ownership built generational asset ownership for millions.
The deferral to post-delimitation is a governance choice, not compulsion. Response to documented violence against women in conflict zones has been politically managed. Institutional accountability for harassment has been inconsistent across administrations.
Implement the existing 33% Reservation Act immediately — no delimitation delay. Every state government and the centre shall be publicly asked the same question every quarter: what is your Cabinet's female percentage today? That question goes to every CM, every party, every state.
India's press freedom ranking has dropped significantly — RSF Index from 140 to 159 over a decade. Media consolidation under conglomerates with political connections is a real structural problem.
Government cancellation of private media licences based on ownership is authoritarian — the exact power they claim to oppose. The demand targets only specific owners while staying silent on all other media consolidation. You cannot fight media capture by proposing a different form of it.
Doordarshan reaches rural and tribal India at zero cost. A functioning digital news ecosystem with independent voices across ideological lines exists, even under pressure.
Journalists have faced arrest under anti-terror and sedition provisions. A Supreme Court-appointed committee took spyware allegations against journalists seriously enough to investigate. Regulatory actions coinciding with editorial shifts create systemic self-censorship.
Mandatory public disclosure of all media ownership chains — SEBI-style annual filings. Anti-monopoly limits across all owners. Statutory legal protection for journalists from misuse of anti-terror provisions. These rules apply to every media house across every ideological alignment.
Horse-trading is a constitutional crisis. The Tenth Schedule's merger loophole has been exploited across multiple states and parties. Disqualification petitions are routinely delayed for political benefit, rendering the anti-defection law toothless.
The demand is purely future-facing — granting immunity to every defector from the last five years across all parties. A law that only applies from tomorrow protects everyone who benefited yesterday. That is not reform. That is an alibi written as a manifesto.
The Tenth Schedule exists and has withstood constitutional challenges. The Supreme Court has intervened in floor test disputes, ruling some government formations constitutionally improper after the fact.
Multiple state assemblies have witnessed engineered resignations and defections used to topple elected governments — a practice spanning party lines. Speakers routinely delay disqualification petitions. The SC has noted this undermines constitutional democracy.
Close the Tenth Schedule merger loophole. Disqualification petitions decided within 30 days — beyond that, jurisdiction transfers automatically to the High Court. Apply retroactively to all defections from 2020 onwards, across all parties and states — no exemptions. Ten years with teeth is a law. Twenty years is a headline.
The Cockroach Janta Party exists because a judge called unemployed youth "cockroaches." It has one lakh members, a party anthem, a website, and five demands — and not a single word about employment, skill development, or examination reform in its manifesto. A movement built on economic pain with zero economic demands.
UPI accounts for 46% of global real-time digital transactions — genuinely India-built infrastructure. PLI schemes showing manufacturing results. 85,000+ DPIIT-recognised startups. Jan Dhan brought formal banking to 500 million citizens. Fastest highway construction pace in independent India's history.
A major employment survey showing a 45-year high in unemployment was withheld for two years after leaking. Educated youth unemployment stands at 45%+ per CMIE. A national entrance exam leak affected 2.4 million students with zero ministerial accountability. A military scheme offering 4-year contracts with no pension drew widespread protests.
Monthly mandatory youth unemployment data — statutory, independently verified, no government discretion on timing. National entrance examination overhauled with decentralised, redundant security. Military service schemes must guarantee pension eligibility. Skills programme outcomes — actual employment placements, not enrolment numbers — publicly audited annually.
CJP brands itself "Secular, Socialist, Democratic, Lazy" — invoking constitutional values as identity. Yet Demand 02 proposes weaponising UAPA (which suspends constitutional bail protections) against civil servants. You cannot demand constitutional protection for activists while demanding constitutional suspension for bureaucrats. The Constitution is not a costume.
Elections held on schedule without interruption. The Supreme Court has struck down major legislation it found unconstitutional — including laws passed by large parliamentary majorities — demonstrating residual independence worth defending.
Anti-terror legislation used against students, academics, and activists — documented cases of multi-year pre-trial detention without conviction. Citizenship legislation combined with proposed verification created constitutional anxiety for specific communities, documented across the legal spectrum. Surveillance allegations warranted SC committee investigation.
Real nationalism is defending constitutional protections for people you disagree with — not just for your preferred communities. Opposing misuse of anti-terror laws means opposing it universally. The Constitution is India's greatest civic achievement. The spray goes on anyone who treats it as a party property.
India is built by doing. By contributing honestly. By holding institutions accountable with facts, not feelings. By demanding better from every government — and from ourselves.
If that sounds like you, you are already a member. The form just makes it official.
